Thanks, but when is it? On what day? Here in Central Europe, Black Friday is basically every Friday in November, and on the first Friday in December.
We sure do have a twist on the original American tradition...
I'm afraid this isn't accurate.
26H1/26H2 will be released for all PCs, not just for ARM. Just like 25H2 is. But all supported ARM-based PCs are getting an earlier release. Not just specific ARM-based PCs but for all supported ARM-based PCs.
And the first build is already available on the...
Hello,
In the previous years there used to be a black friday discount for NTLITE. I'm looking for it. Will there be a discount this year as well?
I'm looking for it in the upcoming days. Thanks
nuhi
Hello everyone!
Thank you for helping me. So far the problem still exists (yes even on the latest NTLITE version) but thanks to your help, I was able to narrow it down to the language pack for .NET 3.5.
Here are my answers:
1. I don't use UUPDUMP. I only use retail (consumer and business)...
Update. The problem is still present as of the latest version. And it is now definitely related to the .NET 3.5 and language pack integration.
If anyone can please help me with fixing this:
Here's the updated preset that merely adds the things that makes NTLITE crash. Just use a Windows 10 22H2...
Thank you so much for your very quick reply tistou77 , testing it now.
Seems to work now, but as a precaution I removed the .NET 3.5 enablement and the .NET 3 language pack add-on. I will have to try again, but at least, the image compiled successfully now
still need to test it !
Hello
I'm trying to integrate updates and APPX files into an untouched Windows 10 22H2 image, and NTLITE just crashes.
There's no error message, it just vanishes and is not visible on my taskbar anymore. I have turned OFF my antivirus and it still crashes anyway.
By digging through the logs...
Hi nuhi
Thank you for the reply! Also garlin thank you too!
Sadly I must not do that on this machine but I'll try using isolated VM which has no AV. Thank you for the suggestion!
Well, that is not my test scenerio. I don't have a problem with adding language packs to a W7 SP1 Ultimate ISO. I...
Hi,
I'm trying to add two language packs to an untouched Windows 7 (W7) SP1 ISO file (x64 of course) but DISM errors out with "DISM maximum instances reached". I had to abort the whole operation , delete all files and start over.
I'm trying to apply changes to ALL editions at once using the...
Hello,
I use NTLite to label my images as imagex/dism-capture does not do it for me. As I combine multiple editions into my images, I need to add image names, edition names, flags and descriptions to each image so I recognize each edition. I highly appreciate that NTLite has this feature and it...
Right that's a mistake. I am trying to eliminate compatibility issues so I install them in order and I don't even run /Resetbase cleanup for now. But you're right, I should only be installing the latest as they are cumulative.
Nevertheless, this shouldn't be causing a problem, as the Windows...
Hi ! Thank you for your response!
TLDR --> if anyone finds this later thread and needs to integrate Teams, do this
(it's for the proper classic version, the one that works with work/school accounts too, not just with home accounts. I hate the built-in Teams in Windows 11, that one doesn't get...
No, I haven't tried that. But my source image is validated by dism (/scanhealth reads ok) and is basically just an OEM image , a 1511 build with some modifications added. DISM was able to integrate updates to it, and NTLITE corrupts it. I need to know what NTLITE is doing to it, that DISM is...
Hi guys,
Thank you for your replies & for taking the time to test servicing these updates!
You're right. Thank you. Targeting KB4052232 now. Skipping the other two.
That's great but this is the point where it gets weird. Upon reverting to the initial image, I was able to integrate these...
Hi nuhi, thank you for your response!
The build version is 1511, 10.0.10586.14.
I had to start over before NTLite corrupted my image just when trying to apply a few updates. Even though the apply process was succesful, no errors reported but the image wouldn't load anymore. Good thing I had a...
