Why is NTLite suddenly so slow with latest ISOs?

Okay, for me that's what takes up the most time.

Why is NTLite suddenly so slow with latest ISOs?

If you're integrating Windows updates, that's what takes the most time

Disable Windows Defender in Windows 11

Yes I was saying that I hadn't tested it on Windows 10, since Windows 11 (when I installed it)

Disable Windows Defender in Windows 11

I also removed it with W10, I haven't retested since W11, But there's no reason that should have changed

Disable Windows Defender in Windows 11

Services list keep showing when you scroll down

Great and you welcome I never install it, more like a "portable version"

Services list keep showing when you scroll down

Try with light theme (difference with me) just in case But that would be surprising

Services list keep showing when you scroll down

Get error halfway through making ISO file

It seems there's an error with the registry (and "Image info") Either NTLite can't access it because it's already being used by another process (unlikely, there's an error message for that). Or the file mentioned doesn't exist, also unlikely. Error - Hive file missing...

What does exactly the presets XML include? What will carry over if I import this XML to a new build?

The preset includes all the modifications you made with NTLite And that's what I do. When I want to integrate a new update, I start from scratch with an unmodified ISO (where the editions I don't want have already been deleted) add, remove and change the update in the preset, on this line for...

    Devices Page Crash in Settings

You're welcome Ah yes, perhaps Game Mode isn't present with W10, I haven't checked With W11, I don't keep any of those components, and there's no problem with the Devices page, but I don't remember about W10, it's too far But that doesn't speak to me.

    Devices Page Crash in Settings

With W11, the Game Mode component (at least the DLL file) needs to be retained for Settings to work. Perhaps with Windows 10, it's only for the Device page. You can test this by retrieving the gamemode.dll file from System32 and copying it

"Modern App support" component cannot be removed from the Windows 10 image

From what I remember (it's been a while since Windows 10), it's not the OOBE but the setup itself, during installation. And needed for Settings too nuhi will confirm

Do you guys know how to disable all CPU mitigations in Windows?

Yes, Intel has managed to restore almost the performance levels to before those "patches" Since I have 2 BIOS on my motherboard, I have one with an older microcode version (2017 or 2018, I can't remember exactly) for benchmarks, best OC, etc...
