I believe this is the registry key that auto installs the Dev Home app.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Appx\AppxAllUserStore\ProvisionApplications\Incoming\Microsoft.Windows.DevHome_8wekyb3d8bbwe]
"StoreId"="9N8MHTPHNGVV"
After removing it the app no longer...
Thank you for looking into this issue.
I have found that if I remove the existing ZuneMusic app from the image, I will then be able to add the new ZuneMusic_11.2312.7.0 (Windows Media Player) app without errors.
Yes, I am using the same PowerShell script to download the app and all dependencies.
I still get the same "Existing item" message when trying to add the Media Player app.
I am using Windows 10 version 22H2 from UUP dump.
I am using the free version of NTLite if that makes a difference.
I am getting the following error when trying to add the newest Windows Media Player to Windows 10.
Existing item: Windows Media Player (Microsoft.ZuneMusic_11.2312.7.0_neutral_~_8wekyb3d8bbwe.msixbundle)
It will only let me add it if I remove the old app first. I am not having this problem...
It appears that the removal of Cortana alone breaks searching in the Windows 11 settings app. It also causes the settings app to crash when accessing Advanced indexing options and Indexer troubleshooter.
At least that has been my experience.
