I decided to install Windows LTSB and then do Live removals. For some reason Windows Defender, Other Themes and some other component would not be removed, and every reboot on startup I would get Windows Security Client error and like a genius I am, I decided to just repeat the process of removing over and over, and all of a sudden now I can't open NTLite which just give me a "File System Error (-1073741515)" message.
These are the errors I've found so far that happened with my Live Removal presets I will attach. FYI, errors and such has been translated from Swedish too English, so the errors could be worded wrong.
- Task Manager do not want to open
- I can't delete the .log and .xml file that NTLite saves in C:\ (It shows up as it's deleting the files, it goes to 100% and disapears but the files remain.)
- Same as above happens with Program Files\Windows Defender files if I try to manually delete them.
- If I try to open the Security Settings permissions I get the error "Cannot open editor for ACLs. (null)" and the Window is named Windows-Security.
- I'm not sure if related, but when I go to PC Settings - Updates and Security - For Developers, I can't switch the setting away from "Install only apps for Windows Store". I try press anything else, like Developer Mode, it just switch back.
This is just what I've found so far, could be more. I'm not sure what caused this, but hopefully nuhi knows.
