Is it possible to install individual stand-alone apps?

I would like to ask if it is possible to add stand-alone apps downloaded as standalone packages from the website

Yes, it's possible. You add the .msixbundle (or .appx) files to the NTLite Updates page.
Don't forget to add dependencies, if any (NTLite will normally indicate if a dependency is missing).
