I was waiting for he latest CU to be available in the updates downloader, by checking if the build date was updated.
Realised that it is indedd updated for the latest August 8 2023 KB5029244, and it actually it is updated downloading and poting to the right files, just that the release date shown in the build date column it's not right.

Also happens with the currently relased network framework cumulative updates (3 - 4.8 and 4.8.1)

I Checked this for Windows 10 21H2 & 22H2 - Windows 11 22H2

Just wanted to report this.
Thanks.

Monthly CU's are scheduled far in advance, so the package build dates are normally earlier than Patch Tuesday.

The fancy software term is "release cadence" or everything gets pushed every 4-5 weeks. The build date represents the internal deadline for new code making it into that release cycle.

Monthly Previews are actually the next month's intended CU, just released early for user testing. Unless there is an emergency (Out-Of-Band) release, the build dates are always off by a few weeks.
