Just a brief report to mention here (and for anyone googling in future in this niche case), if you are planning to use the Windows Embedded Unified Write Filter or Shell Launcher features in Windows 10/11 Enterprise/IOT Enterprise, do not remove the Windows Provisioning or at least the Device Management components as this will break these features with cryptic error messages. UWF will say that there are no more endpoints to configure and trying to use a shell launcher XML will either fail to register or fail to work.
