In January 2026, I renewed my NTLite license after a year because it had expired, and I hadn’t received any new features. While I was at it, I decided to create a custom Lite present that others could use too.
Here’s how I went about it:
I started with the NTLite “Pre-made” Lite preset found under the Template button. I selected the "Lite" option, then began removing unnecessary features.
The version I used:
Windows 11 Professional 21H2 x64 – 10.0.22000.194 (en-US)
Forum policy doesn't allow us linking to non-MS mirrors of Windows ISO.
Important Note!
Some features may be missing from the system. You can always reintegrate them later by simply ticking the box next to the feature you want to add back to your LiteOS.
Windows Update is removed, so you’ll need to manually install drivers or use a third-party driver installer.
The final ISO size is around 1.7-1.8 GB, which is pretty compact and fits perfectly on a 2GB flash drive!
