I just want to disable win defender without uninstalling it, so that when the system boots up windows defender is completely disabled on 24H2. What settings do I need to configure? Kindly advise

If you can't find it on your system, then mount the iso image having the same build number as your windows version, go to sources folder in your mounted iso and copy install.wim to a location where you can extract it, then extract the wim using 7zip after it has extracted (ignore the errors...

search for it in C:\Windows\syswow64

I had this problem with 23H2 and had a macrium backup of 22H2, it gave me the exact same error I just copied the said file over from my macrium backup (user.exe) and Resolve installed ..

There is another solution to this, if you have made a macrium backup of a system, the in system32 you can search for a file named user.exe and copy it back to the location(s) 1. syswow64 and 2. system32 and Resolve will work

Thank you for that finding, I know it's missing libraries but which components are removing those libraries, is there something in the Log which points to a component or components which are removing the 2.2 Framework
