I've successfully created a custom Windows 11 ISO, but discovered that there is no RDP app as it does not recognize the *.RDP extension. Is there anyway I could add the old and new RDP app to the ISO? The Windows Store only has the new RDP.

Thanks!

The answer depends on what version of W11.

Starting with 23H2, Remote Desktop is now an installable app (not a built-in Feature). Before that, you could restore RDP as a Feature by adding the Feature on Demand (FOD) Packages from the W11 22H2 LSOF ISO.

The RDP app is available from: Windows 64-bit

Windows can't really support two different versions of RDP at the same time (since only one can be picked as the default RDP app).

23H2 and it does not come with RDP. How do I add it to the ISO using NTLIte? Or is that not possible?

Just checked my configuration and yes, the Remote Desktop Client is checked. I'm going to try again.
