Bug report: broken Start Menu search

if the ''windows store'' component is removed the start menu search engine gets broken tottaly

tested only in windows 10 LTSC 64bit 1766.1

if someone could test it to make sure so you can add it to search compatibility

For confirmation, I removed Windows Store from a clean 17763.316 (which uninstalled Windows PushToInstall Service).
Taskbar Search returns no web results, if that's what you mean by broken.
 
i'm talking about the search icon beside the start menu icon
in my case it doesn't even open by pressing on it
and trying to write in the start menu nothing happens at all (to test if the icon is broken or the search is broken)

You probably have other removals breaking Windows, If you need more help, attach your preset.
 
LiuBang, i have encountered that. Please post your preset so we can help sort this for you

i dont remember which removal it was offhand, but it is from removing something that breaks search and messes start up.

i got it solved by just not removing it
i'm just removing alot of the my image trying to reach a lite version so alot of stuff removed
you are right for sure

i got things removed with different programs so the preset wont be much help
sry for interuptions or time waste
