Check for Updates?

I understand your level of knowledge when you compared DirectX with the security stack within Windows...
Well, what you're saying about my wording and intent is inaccurate and sounds like an insult, so rather than set things straight, I'm going to just say I'm not understanding the intent of your replies here because it sounds like you're saying I'm wrong, but then you interate much of the same stuff I did.

Let's not complicate this any further, this thread was as simple as a user asking why Windows 7 is difficult to get working, and my response was explaining to them and lurkers that this is normal and expected, as there's a reason why less than 3% of people are on Windows 7 today--because it's not really an option for most people anymore and what they're experiencing is going to be a constant issue before, during, and after building that image.

I never re-iterate stuffs. It is my motto that we use the latest version of Windows in order to have the latest and greatest features and avoid hassles of features not supported in old OSes.

You can download both from GitHub. However, as far as I know, XAML 2.8.6 and Windows Package Manager (winget) are not supported on Windows 7.
Thanks again!

I'm using my W7 machine to build this ISO: en-us_windows_10_iot_enterprise_ltsc_2021_x64_dvd_257ad90f.iso

I officially declare that all of my "Updates" questions have been kindly & skillfully answered by others here with much more knowledge than I. (IE: my next post - and i'm sure there will be a next post - will be on a different subject)
