Hi all,

I've been using NTLite for many years, but today I've found a weird issue.

After installing in a VM my NTLite generated ISO, there are two unexpected changes: the classic context menu and classic Explorer are turned on.
I have not applied any tweak or setting related to these options.

The ISO was generated by UUPDump selecting the latest Windows 11 24H2. I've attached my config file.

I can't understand why they are being applied, can you assist?

With this component removed I think : microsoftwindows.client.aix
Disabling the Recall feature also causes this, but you didn't disable it

I had disabled it in Settings. I can't disable it via Features because I just have the free version.

I've re-enabled the "Windows Copilot" component (microsoftwindows.client.aix) while keeping the above setting as disabled.

Bingo! Modern File Explorer and Contextual Menu are back.

Thanks for your help. I think this component should not be allowed to be removed, or at least a note should be addeded explaining this case.

Nice and You're welcome

Yes it's good in Setting, but not in Feature, by disabling it
In general (maybe not all) microsoftwindows.xxxxx components in System Apps can "break" explorer ("switch" to Legacy version, currently)
