Title mostly says it all. Is there a list of the protected components for each of the selections displayed below "Component functionality" inside the "Compatibility" menu?

My first thought was to open multiple instances of NTLite. Mark everything for removal without anything checked under compatibility in one instance. Mark everything for removal with everything checked under compatibility in the other instance. Then compare the difference.

Although, I'm hopeful there's official documentation from nuhi posted somewhere I couldn't find?

Edit 1:

I'm manually compiling now. Using Windows 10 21H2 IoT Enterprise (2025-04-08 17:01:32 UTC) with latest updates. ISO created with UUPdump on 2025-04-12. UUPDump settings used to create ISO are attached (ConvertConfig.ini). ALL apps listed in the "CustomAppsList.txt" are omitted from install.

Everything unchecked WITH Compatibility ---> 1304 Removed Components
Everything unchecked WITHOUT Compatibility ---> 1619 Removed Components
*** 315 Component Differences ***

Using NTLite v2025.4.10375 (64-bit) [Home License]

Edit 2:

I've compiled a XML spreadsheet documenting which components are protected when selecting a functionality to keep in the compatibility menu. Only section left to complete is the "Apps" section.

Edit 3:

I've indexed all the component discrepancies! The completed Excel file is attached. There's a worksheet for every Compatibility category, along with 2 master lists. Strangely, nothing was kept upon selecting "TeamViewer" (Maybe my Windows version?) Took me a few hours on and off. Hope it's helpful to someone. The ability to view this information natively inside NTLite would be a nice addition. I know it displays inside "Extra info" but only when the corresponding Compatibility section is selected.

On Components tab in the 3. colum "Extra info" you can see what components gets protected from the Compatibility options.
The upper top field let you search for it.

That information is only there if you have a corresponding "component functionality" checked. I do wish it was always available to read in the "Extra Info" section, or even another section specifically for stating what would be protected. Instead of having to select a component to protect, then and only then does the Extra Info populate with the corresponding information.

You can.
After loading your image before load a preset go to Components.
In upper menu click "Expand all" and you'll see all the dependencies in Extra info colum.

You’re almost correct. Yes the information I seek IS in the “Extra Info” section but ONLY IF I have a compatibility component checked. I would like to see that information WITHOUT toggling a component protection. When I toggle a component protection to “on” it will automatically reselect any components that are protected with that preset. I would like to merely see that information WITHOUT having to toggle it on and check all of the things that are now reselected. I understand the information IS available, just a small quirk that I had to deal with and hence created that excel spreadsheet which expedited the aforementioned process to see what’s protected or not.
nuhi Think you could implement that ability?

FYI...for anyone who wants to view Protected Components without selecting them in the "Compatibility" section. Open 2 simultaneous sessions (premium feature) of the image your editing. In the 2nd instance select all components in the "Compatibility" section. Now all components which would be protected are protected AND display the corresponding information in "Extra Info". Utilize this information to make decisions in the 1st instance. I have everything unchecked in compatibility on my first instance and cherry pick what i desire while knowing what would be protected.

As you problaly notized, a lot of Compatibility options is mixed options protected and the reason is, a lot of members over time have contributed to evolve NTL to protect the ever Windows As A Service development to protect what ever software they're using to accompplish the goal. Like gaming for most and the software attached to to this subject.
A Compatibility option is to protect Scanner.
Most should know, that using a PDF software have an inbuild scanner or the printer software do.
