Cortana in Win 10 20H2 - What is the secret to vaporizing this thing? Still appears on Start Menu

Just did a fresh config of Win 10 ENT 20H2 and while I believe I got everything Cortana related - I see it's icon appearing on the Start Menu here in my VM.

It also gets updated via the MS Store in my last test a few moments ago. If I click on the icon - a big window pops up telling me Cortana is disabled - but I do not recall there ever being an icon on the Start Menu in all my last Win 10 builds since say 1607 and up.

Is this the reason it's there - and will Search be impacted if I ditch this?

Answered my own question - rolled out a test build today and yes - removing that checkbox above does remove the icon and does not impact Search.

Starting from earlier builds, Search is a "standalone" app, not integrated in Cortana wich is great for us because (the useless) Cortana isn't supported in many languages and we can remove it.

like it is in w7, not reliant on or needed by other stuff?
Not sure what do You mean but I mean an app, the Search app's folder is located here:
\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.Windows.Search_cw5n1h2txyewy\

app schmapp, app program or dll, whatever. you know what i mean :)
