Hello,

We create a new Windows 11 WIM file every month using NTLite, including the monthly cumulative updates and a language pack. Please see the screenshot below showing the options we select to inject into the WIM file.

NTlite1.PNG

When we do this, the process fails on the current month’s cumulative update (see screenshot below).

NTlite2.PNG

It works fine if we integrate only the cumulative updates, or only the language pack. The issue only occurs when we include both the cumulative update and the language pack at the same time.

We have tried different options, but it fails every time.

Additional information:
  • Windows 11 24H2 Enterprise Edition
  • Dutch language pack (CAB files)

Thank you in advance.

Thank you for reporting.
Managed to replicate, testing.

Did you try to re-add KB5043080 first?
Thank you, yes, that works, had the same idea.

anthill, there are 2 solutions:
- either add KB5043080 (checkpoint downloadable in NTLite update list) to the update list, and start fresh.

- or get the 26100.1 ISO, without any pre-integrated updates, I find that tidier, even though you again need KB5043080 as that is the later cumulative update dependency either way, it's just this time LP is integrated to the base .1 and all the updates come after it.
If you cannot find that exact image from the official channels, get it from UUPDump with updates checked off.

I'll add the Checkpoint dependency detection to the LP for the next update, so users know to add it.

Let me know if that helps.

Thank you for your reply.

After re-adding KB5043080, everything works correctly.
