Disable USB drive after "This PC"?

I know you can turn on/off Quick Access, and you can control some of the stuff that shows up under This PC. But when you plug in a USB drive, for example, that drive will show up in This PC, but then also show up again underneath This PC in it's own section. Is there any way to keep that from happening?
