Hi, I am making an "ISO" but I get an error at the end of the installation. I tried several times, removing even more things I got the same error but it started at the next reboot. My question is, what component causes this error?

Currently I only remove things from "WindowsApps" and the error still appears, after several restarts the error no longer appears and lets me start Windows correctly.

Sorry. Do you know any solution for the error?
Under components tab, remove only things from "System" > apply > make iso > test in VM and then move onto next setting like "Windows Apps" etc.. It is long process but only way to make it work. The more things you remove, the more it becomes clear what caused issues. Also always backup "Last Session" preset or simply rename them so you can continue your trials.

Try my preset file and check/uncheck according to your needs, also used on LTSC but updated to latest Cumulative Update 17763.1999

Edit:
I assume it is problem with autounattended.xml, if you made one, delete it and try installing without it

Thanks for your answer, I did exactly that. I started trying with the System components but it still gave me an error. In the end instead of using "Virtual Box" I had to use "VMWare" and it didn't give me any problems installing. When doing it in a real environment also does not give any problem installing so I guess the whole problem was the fault of "Virtual Box".

Interesting, that would explain why I never saw the issue. Will write this down and find a virtual box dependency to improve the virtual box compatibility option.
Thanks, let me know if you find anything else.

Also, if you remove "Cortana" from windows apps, you can't search in start menu, it just doesn't happen. Tested with only Cortana removed from LTSC ISO

K3rnelPan1c, unfortunately did not manage to replicate it, VirtualBox VM installed fine after using the original preset from the topmost post.
Could be that it needs internet access and dynamic update kicking in, not sure what else, maybe VirtualBox fixed it in the meantime, or I did.
Anyway, if you see it in the future using the next update, let me know how, maybe we arrange that you send me that VBox VM settings file.

chiefkief, could be, the older Windows do need it for Start Menu search, I believe pre-1903.

Thanks.

Currently I continue using VMWare, then when I can get a stable ISO I will let you know if I have any problems with VirtualBox.
