I have used (free) NTLite a few times making a debloated Windows 10 which i have been very happy with. However i have an issue when i do the same for Windows 11. Specifically something going wrong with Explorer.
I generally add windows updates, remove unwanted apps and suggested apps. Then onto privacy and personal settings i understand (telemetry, inking, dark mode, app sizes etc). Then finally setting up a User Account as part of the unattended process and skipping some of the OOBE stuff.
My issue comes with the Explorer window. No matter what i try, it refuses to remember its new size, shape or location. I am wondering if there is something i am removing or a setting i am choosing that is a common cause for this issue.
I have just tried making just an unattended file (from schneegans.de website) and while not debloated enough, it does skip windows account stuff and let me resize Explorer windows.
