Extract AMD Drivers

Many people ask how to extract AMD drivers. The only way is to add the command -extract, which will default to the C:\AMD directory. This lets you clean up the directory before extracting. Keep in mind it takes about 30 to 60 seconds depending on disk access speed, and there’s no GUI display.

[Example]

AMDchipset1234.exe -extract

Same thing for Intel drivers

Are these switches platform dependent?
For example if I run "AMDchipset1234.exe -extract" on an intel platform wil it work?

Personally, I don't get why Intel or AMD use the Null soft installer for drivers. It seems like there are far fewer IT admin downloads available, and it's becoming harder to find them, Intel is especially bad in that regard.

I've been Wrighting code for the last few years and I came across an idea to detect command to extract files from installers. Someone had the idea but stopped his or her project while back.
