Fast User Switching disabled?

Hello,

We are in the middle of developing a Windows 11 Pro 24H2 image for WDS deployment for a small company.
One of features that we need is Fast User Switching. Each image we try to build appears to have Fast User Switching disabled, as windows only allows one person to be logged in at a time, forcing the current account to logout before the next one is allowed to login.
We must be going too lean on this build, and I have not been able to find where it is disabled. Could it be part of a feature set?

If anyone run into this problem and have solved it already, please reach out.

Is there a repository of ready to go NT Lite configuration files that can be imported?

Thanks.

Fast User Switching does require Remote Desktop to work, since it's a special instance of a local RDP session. I would open your preset in Notepad, and remove any lines referring to RDP. Unless of course, you disabled it by group policy.

There's a set of contributed presets out there, but they're mostly from "gamers" so they end up breaking enterprise-like features.

Eyevou posted a preset which he claims keeps good compatibility with desktop apps. Start there.
No frills, "Bring your own drivers", 99% compatibility presets for W10 22H2, W11 23H2 & 24H2

Can you tell me where in NTlite RDP may be disabled?

I appreciate the screenshots. Thank you.

So I did find that all those settings / components are selected in the NTlite image I created. No joy so far. I am going to attempt a "No changes" image to see if fast user switching works then.

We have been unable to login to a computer with a locked screen. The only thing I know that might cause that problem would be fast user switching not working, but it could be something else. Suggestions?

Can you RDP into the locked PC? That would be a clue whether something else was borked.
