For help with x64 system Windows 10 Version 1903 cumulative update (KB4505903)?

NTLite usage version: 1.8.0.7.70
problem:
After the OS update KB4505903, the start menu, search, and work view cannot be opened. If you need to remove the KB4505903 update, it will return to normal. What are the reasons?

Same here, but only on Pro, not Home.
Besides that i also can not get EDGE in app guard mode to work with a by NTLite reduced Os. A fresh untampered install, no problem, with any of the 2 problems. And i have a moderate reduced Os.

Just run ntlite.com /cleancu
Or start the tool and right-click C:\Windows, or Source - Tools, to Remove Returns.
it should clean it up.

If not, you can manually take ownership and delete this reg key:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\classes\clsid\{ede0c6e4-c5de-4377-a472-e590b23b604c}
and restart Explorer process or reboot.
(normal warnings about registry editing insert here)

I'm checking if it's possible to avoid it looking like that until cleaned, as it's ugly and promotes panic.

Or use Host Refresh to update, it's a cleaner way.

Running ntlite /cleancu should be done after CU update in 1903, each time, I might (optionally) automate that, still waiting for the CU-removed-piece-reinstall block instead.

Fixed in build 7080, so that Explorer is not bugged until cleanup is ran.

Hi, have the same problem. After update KB4505903 or KB4512508 no startmenu, no edge, no settings
I create the image for about 600 PC´s and at the moment i cant patch that. deleting the reg key HKLM\SOFTWARE\classes\clsid\{ede0c6e4-c5de-4377-a472-e590b23b604c} help a little i can right click startmenu to open settings but no edge and no startmenu ? what should i do to fix it ?
