The last stable release is here.

Txmmy provided a "for advanced users" build. There are some unfinished parts, with regards to the optional PS script which tries to add more optimizations. Some users have reported isolated problems not visible in the stable release.

Both do there own thing!

I enjoy both in what they provide however without learning the basics of what Ntlite does may give you a headache in applying and not knowing how to adapt it to your needs.

Everyone has different needs in what they want. I have learned and added these to my base builds(removing or adding back what I need)

Page one shows it more or less what you maybe looking for in this thread.

I hate to be a preacher again but adding something without properly knowing what it does may give you unexpected results and end up having to come back fresh again after a few weeks of things you may need are not working correctly

Don't get me wrong I have used both only after 6 months of learning and edited it to my liking(learning new things I have not thought off). This is saves us from a lot of questions of "why so in so is not working"
 
What about the most stable Windows version currently? I am reading some people are having issues with the latest windows 11. I feel like this information should be listed on the first post.

Since there is so many others out there with so many different parts and programs installed there are always expected to be problems on anything from drivers to windows updates.

I am just one below the recent windows updates on win11 and currently have no major issues(just a couple minor ones that don't bother me day to day) but have seen others struggle. Most of our experienced users here can mitigate "most" issues since we have a far greater knowledge on how things work as well as proper installation/removal of such inconsistencies.

I built a preset for Win 11 based on this Preset here and it runs Super MS Store, Xbox Gamepass (FHZ 5), Steam, Gog, Epic without any problems.The Xbox Gamebar is giving me trouble. There is an FPS display there and I've already tried everything to get it to work.
On my stock Win 11, the game bar (Win + G) runs without problems and the FPS is displayed. Does anyone have an idea which reg entry or service it could be?

Open the GamerOS preset in Notepad, and remove:

Probably these two.

So I'm one step further, it now always says: is loading. see screenshot. (sorry is German)

Dont work backwards. Go back to the beginning and start disabling services one by one, restart if you have to, and you will see which service breaks it. It might not be a specific service that does it but one of its dependencies. Always easier to work forwards rather than backwards.
 
Everything is working so far and it didn't work with the GamerOS preset from the start, so I can't go back. Unfortunately, but thanks anyway. I still have my main Windows, so I'll compare everything again.

Is this version the most current? Will it also work for Windows 11?
 
Post #291 is the current stable GamerOS preset. It works for both W10 & 11.

There was a newer, private preset but it's not considered usable for first-time modders. Later versions try for higher performance, but will break some non-gaming Windows features.

CHow do you access that private post? Would it be functional in the latest 23h2 builds?
