GamerOS Windows 10 & 11 DIY Preset

I haven't used CloudFlare WARP, but GamerOS removes two components:

                <c>vpn 'Virtual Private Network (VPN) support'</c>

Edge (Legacy) is the IE11 compatibility library, and WARP technically is a VPN service.
 
I followed your instructions but it worked. It seems the problem lies in these services, do you have any instructions for me? Thank you

P/S: By the way, thank you Galamooth for solving the Microsoft store problem. I followed Txmmy's instructions but it still didn't work

I combined Galamoth's xml and your suggestion. My Store and 1.1.1.1 problem was Ok

Can someone please give the link to the most recent GamerOS version? I found one on github from Chris Titus is this the latest one?

GamerOS doesn't remove NetFx3, but it's an optional Feature on Demand that isn't enabled by default for all images.
Just check .NET Framework 3.5 to enable the Feature.

EDIT.
I just found a problem. the wifi drivers do not install, it says: windows found the drivers but could not install them'' error code 37
any ideas? After this the xml file is perfectly functional.

Hi, can you check in the services.msc that "Connected user experience & telemetry" service is running or not?
I have this service showing starting, but its just stuck there. All start, restart, stop options are greyed out. I have tried through registry & cmd to run the service without success.
 
My preset. Used it about year now without any hiccups. Based on the "clean" GAMEROS(Not the final). Only component removal, no feature or other tweaks.

Restored WiFi, Bluetooth, Windows Photos, Safely Remove Device

Restored couple network components(i don't remember which ones) to fix the network name not showing up.

Restored two Hardware support components to fix the annoying "Projecting to this PC" searching loop.
Devices Flow/Media Streaming
+ Media Streaming - Receiver
+ Media Streaming - Transmitter

anyoene knows why is not letting me map any network drive?

even when i am putting the ip address to my nas and the right credentials is telling me that the device is not being found and when i put connect with other credentials is rejecting me.

and network drivers discovery cant be turned on

GamerOS preset does remove Network Discovery, but I'm not sure about why your NAS can't be mapped.

its off in the preset for some reason and if you try to enable in windows it wouldnt enable.

So something is screwed up in the config some how the lastest ive downloaded was the one with bluetooth fixed and ive enable vpn.

Also ics smb 1 connections are off in the features, dunno why
 
NTLite permanently removes any component which gets unchecked. You may see some networking and HW device features missing from GamerOS, because Txmmy didn't care about them on his PC.

The easiest way to find removed items is by opening the preset in Notepad, and looking for XML lines with "<c>...</c>".

Today I had a problem with my external ssd(hdd). Do you have any instructions for me? Thank you

EAP is a security protocol used for VPN's, and advanced Wi-Fi security (business & school).

Most external drives don't need a driver, but maybe your USB, SATA or Thunderbolt controller needs one.

File for what? there are 3 things mentioned in the quote, defender killer, scheduled tasks and barebone services and they are all for 1809 only.

Tasks - disable/delete everything except the ctfmon(or whatever the damn thing is called), its needed for typing.
Services - I have an LTSC 1809 minimal services thread round here somewhere, use the search box.
Defender Killer - file not availible as defender can now be removed without breaking setup(as it used to) and therefore it is no longer needed.

(Solved) Windows Defender Removal

Hi guys! I have ticked for defender removal and after creating my image tested it in VMWare - but defender still active...I am attaching files.... I can't see it listed in Apps anymore... I am attaching compatability pics...incase there is something else I am missing... bookie56

If you cant find an answer to a question online try it and see what happens.
I didnt barebone windows 7 64bit to 1.23GB(confirmed by other users) installed by asking questions, i got on with it.
