By all means, fix it for leexor.

GamerOS preset is not targeted for Xbox Gaming Pass because Txmmy built the preset for his gaming setup, which is why certain components were removed. Undoubtedly, he didn't purchase games on Xbox and probably used Valve which has different requirements. Until now, almost nobody complained about GamerOS because they didn't use Xbox games either.

If you figure out what the right set of features is, then I will link the corrections to the preset page.

Hey garlin, the gamepass now got hyped because they have the call of duty beta / series, so expect to see some questions regarding this.

Know it for a long time, that templates in NTL not working as expected!
And actually - i don't give a "f**k".
But all the gameraddicts follow it.

Unfortunately, the FPS displays on the Xbox Gamebar don't work.

I noticed your preset's NTLite version is 2023.12.9552 (last year). Have you rebuilt GamerOS on a more recent NTLite version?

I'm getting a persistent RunBroker error, which nobody complained about before. We're both using the same 23H2 ISO, so that's strange.
 
Sorry, what I meant was have you tried using the current version of NTLite to re-create it? When I review the list of removals, there's nothing really there to break RunBroker, so my suspicions turn to a possible code change.
 
Just throwing it out there but maybe we should just purge gamer os template till someone else makes one they are willing to support.

That or someone adjusts it (gamer 2.0) and also takes it over

The first post of this thread seems to make it clear that this preset will not receive official support, just whoever decides to help here. That said, the increasing questions about Xbox related stuff should probably be addressed somehow. The updated preset is immensely helpful and does address a few of those concerns.

Perhaps a variant of the present with Gamepass related stuff functioning should be added? I would assist with that, but I don't have Gamepass so at best I can check for MS account related weirdness.

Sorry too my fault, i have found a Backup with a NTlite Version 2023.129552 (64-bit) this build my Preset and run.

With the newest Version, Host Update run in Problem.
 
I found a copy of .9552 from Wayback Machine, and will try my preset again. My suspicion is the removals or the leftover cleanup is breaking UWP apps, because I have restored almost every component that impacts those features.

The problems are too obvious that someone would have reported these failures by now.

Hello, I tried to use the GamerOS W11 24H2.xml preset for the OEM version of Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC. The system installed normally and went to the desktop, but the screen constantly flashes cyclically. What's wrong, what could be the problem?
 
Enterprise LTSC (or even Enterprise) isn't supported, since this preset is designed for Home & Pro editions. It's a question of having someone willing to debug the different editions. That said, screen flickering is typically related to your graphics driver. The way to confirm this is to install the clean LTSC image and compare results for flickering.
 
To be fair, the LTSC versions seem to be partially debloated Windows versions, at least in my experience. I've tested the preset on W10 22H2 IoT with pretty good success. I think the only thing that broke was the Windows Insider page, but I didn't want that page there anyways.

Well, what is this for? I've been doing builds for about ten years now and have never had a problem. And now I’m working on my 24H2 IoT LTSC assembly, it works great. I make my own sides with my own scripts, but then I became interested in this topic, I decided to try it, but it’s a bummer - it’s a shame. And yes, the dryer has nothing to do with it at all. There's something different here. I was hoping that they would help here, but I see that they won’t.
