Good morning everyone, I'm trying to get the Xbox App, and MS Store fully working again. I'm using the Windows 11 24H2 ISO, and used the Windows 11 Pro x64 as the OS. I applied the Gaming preset for the Components section, and the Gaming preset for the Services section, that is all I selected. I want to say that I made sure that under the compatibility area, the Windows Store was checked off.

The gaming preset broke Windows Update, but I was able to get that working again by enabling the "Windows Update Service" at Components>Remoting and Privacy. And enabling "Update Orchestrator Service" at Services section.

As for the Xbox App that I use for gaming, and the Microsoft Store. Those are broken and do not work. I want to see if I could get some assistance on getting them to work again. I've checked the obvious by looking for anything that says (Store, Microsoft store, Xbox). Other than those I do not know what to re-enable that has been disabled/removed by the Gaming Preset So I can get the MS Store fully working. As the state of the MS store is I can open it just fine, but not able to download anything. The Xbox App tries to open, but it states it needs an update. It gives an error that it can't download it, I tried opening the Xbox App through the MS store. It tries to update it but gives an error.

** For some reason the Presets that were available for the services area is now gone. Only the Components section has presets now. I swear I was able to select a preset for the services section, or I might still not be fully awake**

If you want any help, post your preset so we can help with you better. But, from my experience the Gaming Preset disable xbox core, and xbox apps. You should keep this if you want use xbox. Always read the notes from the components, the preset a start point for everyone, but doesn`t mean that is the best for you.
