Hello,
I am using the latest version of NTlite but have the following issue after NTlite has finished downloading the updates for windows click ok and then the following message appears on the screen aborted by user and NTlite goes no further.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Please attach your NTLite.log from this folder:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Temp

It seems there's an error with the registry (and "Image info")

Either NTLite can't access it because it's already being used by another process (unlikely, there's an error message for that).
Or the file mentioned doesn't exist, also unlikely.
Code:
Error - Hive file missing: C:\Users\MATTHEW\AppData\Local\Temp\NLTmpMnt\Windows\System32\config\SOFTWARE
Error 2 at loading registry hive: ID1
Image info 01 error 2, C:\Users\MATTHEW\Desktop\WINDOWS 11 25H2\sources\install.wim

See also with "image info"

Do you have Defender or a 3rd-party AV running, while using NTLite?

Are you disabling the option in Defender as indicated in the NTLite popup when you apply the changes ?

When I try, the option does not appear on the screen to disable Windows Defender.

You should be able to disable Defender by bringing up "Windows Security".
Virus & threat protection -> Virus & threat protection settings -> Real-time protection -> Off

Hello
All the issues are fixed the problem was that the fan in front of my desktop pc was blocked by dust, clean the fan out and all the issues with Ntlite were gone
Thanks

Sounds like your CPU was overheating. When you save an updated image at the end, NTLite has to perform file compression which is very, very CPU intensive. An overheated CPU tends to work erratically.

Good to hear you resolved the problem.
