Hostrefresh Failed

Failed and gave a warning that says

we couldn't install windows 10
the installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during MIGRATE_DATA operation

iso was vanilla and downloaded via uppdump...

does host refresh use windows modules installer service? a.k.a. trusted installer?

Hi ege,

in order to support host refresh on the host, the OS that was edited before and now trying to refresh, make sure it was having the Host Refresh compatibility enabled to protect needed components.

Host Refresh, or should I say Windows in-place Upgrade + migration, depends on a few components protected by the compatibility.
Should not depend on the servicing stack, let me know if you find otherwise.

As for the exact error, if you protected the host refresh compatibility, check online what the error points to, can be anything, including an app that was installed in the meantime and it cannot be migrated.

I need to do tests and will write here when i found out the reason probably my fault... or something changed in my system during usage time..
