How many times can I install NTLite?

Unfortunately the computer that I had NTLite installed on has gone down. So I can no longer access the NTLite installation that I had on my old computer. I now have my new laptop. I want to make a custom Windows 11 install disk, but I don't know how many times it's going to take me before I get the disk to where I want it. You see, if I install NTLite on my laptop and start making a custom disk, well then when I try that disk to install Windows 11, obviously it will completely wipe out the current Windows installation, and my installation of NTLite will also be gone.

So if I did not get the disk to where I want it, I would have to re-install NTLite again to try doing it again.

This may take a few times.

So hence my question about how many times I can install NTLite on my new laptop. If there is limit please tell me. Or do you recommend checking the option that says Free Version?
 
Makes a backup of license.dat and settings.xml files (on a USB key or other), then when reinstalling NTLite on new Windows, copy these 2 files into the NTLite directory

Me, I save the entire NTLite directory to reuse it after a new Windows installation
 
NTLite licensing is server-based, it remembers every unique HW ID which has been activated for a specific license.

If you didn't save the previous NTLite folder (which is entirely optional), then re-entering the same license key will not subtract a new activation if the same PC was previously activated.

When major components in the PC are replaced (motherboard, CPU, graphics, or boot drive), the HW ID will change and require a new activation. Otherwise, NTLite can be re-installed on the same activated machine an infinite number of times.
 
I will be installing NTLite on an entirely new machine. My new laptop. So when I install NTLite on my new laptop, I will activate it. As long as I simply reinstall the program on the same laptop I should be okay.
 
Up to 5 machines/hardware changes of yours, people rarely go through all that with legitimate use, especially before renewal anyway, which resets it.

Once activated on a machine, you can reinstall as many times as you want on it, it counts as 1, even if Windows reinstalled.

Good to know, after all it's true that I never worried about it
 
Depending on the USB attached - like Corsair as it act like a new HW equipment to your PC/ laptop.
Cost you one of the "high" five.
