Is it good time to finally build a Windows 11 24H2 image for personal use?

These are the items affected by starback.Anyway, I recommend doing it this way (which I've always done since I started using start all back): Install it, configure it as you like, open regedit and go to

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\StartIsBack

Export it to a .reg file and, with each new installation, apply this .reg file. You'll see that after rebooting your PC, your starback will be exactly as you configured it. If there are any changes, simply re-export and re-apply the new .reg file.

These are the keys affected by starback.I've been using my .reg file for months to restore my permanently chosen settings after installation/update.
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\StartIsBack] --> copy all voice
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\StartIsBack\Cache] --> 1 copy all voice
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\StartIsBack\Cache\Volatile] --> 1 copy all voice
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\StartIsBack\DarkMagic]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\StartIsBack\Recolor]

I used StartIsBack for years but I stopped when W11 was released it was time to let go and adapt. Also big updates always broke startmenu and startisback was late to update. crashes were annoying for me... I got used to new startmenu of windows by now.

I can assure you that for a few months now 24H2 hasn't "broken" starisback in any way and in any case I'm happy that you've gotten used to the new windows...

Its either overlaying it or Linux, the 11 stock UI is so messy (and buggy as a recent screenshot I posted shows), its unusable, completely untuitive and missing very basic features, I am not exaggerating when I say it feels like a time warp to pre Windows 95. I havent noticed any instability either, just need to make sure wait some time when a new update comes out to make sure if needed the software gets a patch to support any changes MS might have made.

There are also registry keys here
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]
I think its good now, used registry changes viewer to get the specific ones since they mixed with other explorer stuff.

The stock Windows 11 start menu is unusable, featureless, lacks any customization, so there is nothing to adapt to and nothing to get used to. I have no issues with StartAllBack, maybe because I have feature updates disabled.

You know how to export startisback settings? I found some reg keys mentioned, and used them, but it didnt restore everything.
Luckily start 11 v2 for the 10 start menu has an official backup/restore feature. Including the tile layout, but the startisback is odd that you expected to set it up from scratch every time.
Yup, it's simply in:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\StartIsBack

There is like one or two settings that doesn't work for some reason, by majority get imported. I added this key to my image.
