After installing Windows 11 using the attached 'Works' preset, 'Get Started' and 'Windows Backup' are still mysteriously present in the Start Menu:

Even after applying the 'Online' preset on said running image, it still displays those phantom entries.

Attached is the hardware list of the VM and below is the currently installed programs list:

I use Start11 as the Start Menu replacement, OpenWithEx to restore the 'open with' dialog, and ExplorerPatcher to restore the classic File Explorer.

I wish I could use Open Shell, but it's not compatible with ARM machines currently.

Get Started and Windows Backup are both sub-apps inside Client.CBS.

There are ways to tamper with Client.CBS's AppxManifest.xml, but it will end up blocking future Windows updates at some point. That's been my experience playing around.

That's good to know. But as you see (as per 'works.xml'), I've removed 'microsoftwindows.client.cbs' and the shortcuts are still there.

Very puzzling.

I wouldn't recommend removing Client.CBS, it breaks some desktop features. Some users don't mind, others will notice it.

From my tests, deleting Client.CBS replaces Explorer with Windows 10's (the one with the ribbon).
No problems with the Start menu, etc...
