Is it normal for NTLite to ask for a new online activation when removing a usb drive?
For example, it does not happen if I remove the usb for my mouse?
I use a Corsair GTX usb which behaves like an external ssd drive in terms of fast transfer speed for synchronization between my various PCs instead of being logged in with an MS account and OneDrive (as if MS is not spying enough).
Sometimes I use the USB on one of the other PCs and NTLite then asks for online activation on my main PC.
It's probably not a bug - I only ask to find out about usb types that behave like external ssd's, that it is normal that it therefore requires a new online activation as if it is replacement of hardware when removed to limit it for the 5 online activations that come with the purchase of premium features?

For now, you could try Ghostbuster (portable) to clean up the devices and storage volumes list when the drive is removed.

Thanks - but it's not problematic - I know how to remove hardware from device settings.
The question went on that when I registered NTL for the first time my usb was inserted and only asks for online registration again when I remove it.
I don't think NTL registration care about anything else but what the hardware setup was when you use your registeroption out of five online for the first time.

I use both, since DriveStoreExplorer doesn't clean up the ghosted volume entries.

Exactly - i don't need to remove hidden devices still in use and wait for Windows to grave out the drivers again for already acknowledged hardware.
