Local account and auto-logon: Works on HW, does not work in VM

Hi all,

I have made this NTLIte driven build. It includes creation of a local user + auto-logon.

This works fine when installing on my hardware directly. It does not work if I use a HyperV VM as install target.

Do I miss something here?

There should be no difference if you're using Unattended mode to manage local accounts and auto-logon.

Hmm, garlin I tried it on Oracle Virtualbox and there it works. Seems to be related to Microsoft Hyper-V. I´ll investigate further.

All right. Found an answer. It has to do with Enhanced Session Mode (ESM). If you disable this setting the auto-logon works...not sure what I will be missing to not have ESM...
