I understand it wants something but past that im lost. i open the folders the program shows and theyre empty. ive considered just entirely redoing my ISO but if i can get a simple "do this by doing the following" so i can avoid doing so it would be great. if it matters i want to reinclude MS Paint, Media Player, and Photo Viewer.

Are you missing the legacy Paint, Media Player and Photo Viewer apps? The newer UWP versions of the same apps can be re-installed live from the Store.

To re-add the legacy apps, you'll need to download the FOD ISO for W10 22H2:
Extract the ISO, and copy the missing packages to either of the named NTLite cache folders. You will need the base package, and the localized language versions of the same.

For example:
Microsoft-Windows-MSPaint-FoD-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~.cab
Microsoft-Windows-MSPaint-FoD-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~en-US~.cab
Microsoft-Windows-MSPaint-FoD-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~wow64~en-US~.cab

Yes the legacy ones, i had tried to reinstall them on the PC i first used this ISO on and it was giving me problems hence why ive thought about readding them to the ISO itself again.

so i tried copying and pasting those into both folders i saw here and its still saying im missing something.

EDIT/Update

ended up relaunching and copying/pasting the entire folder of both downloads in and it seems to have worked. thank you.
