According to this article Direct Storage(DS) might become availible on Windows 10(1909 or later).
As DS seems to be aimed at gamers what are the benefits, if any, to non gamers? Just everyday workstations and media players(any benefits for video playback?). Or would i be better off just getting a faster drive?
