I don't like web installers, unless it's for a rapid changing platform like Steam or Battle.Net. The remote end of a web installer can stop serving content without warning, and you're screwed.
 
how do i get a txt file of all the bios settings, want to share my results here somewhere.
 
For hardware security reasons, Windows can't directly talk to UEFI/BIOS except to flash firmware. Some UEFI platforms have the ability to save configs to USB, but that's vendor specific.
 
Important changes to Rufus, if you're using W7:
Version 3.22 (2023.03.25)

Remove the ISO download feature on Windows 7
Note: This is the last version of Rufus that can run on Windows 7

im still using xp era programs, as long as they work its not a problem, same with rufus and w7.
 
the only warning we need is "put your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye" when the big ones start flying.
there is a lot of FUD about this alerts thing here.
no wonder sales of nokia bricks and feature phones is increasing.

Haha I really remember those Nokia phones. Those last forever with prehistoric game of snakes to keep you occupied during the apocalypse haha
