FYI – MS has removed abbodi1406's GitHub account.

Recently, they've been removing different users based on what looks like objectionable content to MS. Like his recent Windows 10 ESU scripts.

abbodi uses mirrors for (all ?) his downloads, available on MDL
He'll probably share them here (or others users)

The point is abbodi's GitHub has been nuked, so folks might want an official mirror that isn't some random file sharing site.

I dont get tizen or webos tvs.. android tv or tv stick is good because u can connect via adb to remove bloatware just like phones.

or take an old PC, and use it as the "Smart" part of the TV, running linux or heavily debloated windows. I have a 3rd gen nuc here doing just that, with Tuxedo OS, and actively blacklisted my Samsung TVs from my network, they are just THAT intrusive.

Yup. I have an older 50" FHD dumb TV with a old 4th gen i5 Mac Mini hooked up running heavily debloated and stripped down Windows 11 and Firefox loaded with crap-blocking extensions. The hardware is too old to decode 4K, but the TV is only FHD so it works fine for local video files, Netflix, Disney and YT. I dread to think what we'll do if this TV dies. The new TVs are all "smart" and total garbage and a "monitor" this size will be expensive as hell.

We may just give up on the TV. I don't watch it anyway, I do all entertainment on my computer and wife spends most of her time on her iPads - yes, plural, she uses two at a time :D

Over here its an old Dell 7559 (6th gen intel + GTX 960m), with debian KDE, its only able to output 4K at 30hz, but for netflix and video playback its more than enough.

as for two ipads, heh, 'get on my level pleb': I often use the PC (on a 48" TV since my monitor died), a 10" android tablet and an 8.5 windows tablet/handheld while listening to music on my phone and bluetooth speakers. :p

I was gonna put Linux on it, as I was afraid Windows 11 would be too slow on it, but it works OK :) But, the last time I looked at this Netflix streaming on Linux was limited to 720p due to some DRM restrictions. Has this changed recently?

I managed to put(quite easily i might add) w10 21h2 ltsc onto a dell intel 12th gen laptop instead the factory w11 home. If using integrated graphics check the gpu's manufacturer for driver support before buying. 21h2 ltsc runs nicely on my NOS thinkpad i5 6300u even with hyper threading disabled.

LTSC keeps being mentioned in many places I visit.

I'm past Windows 10, 11 has been mostly good so far thanks to NTLite, but I'm gonna play around with the Windows 11 IoT LTSC edition next. Though my current 11 Pro NTLite build, my best so far, is so lean, "calm and boring", stripped down of everything (and all my stuff works) that I doubt LTSC will benefit me in any way, but I was curious about LTSC for a long while, so finally I decided to tinker with it.
