Mounting just the install.wim from a Server 2016 ISO
I load the WIM, I go to Updates, Add, Latest Online Updates - shows Windows 10 1607 x64
I am only getting update from 2023-02. I would expect to see the ones from 2023-04
C:\Program Files\NTLite\Updates is empty
Do I need to update something somewhere else to get the latest updates?
It does seem to work with 2019. I see the latest Cumulative Update and the .NET Cumulative Update.

There are online comments that KB5025228 is causing problems on Server 2016.

Thanks. I did see that, thought it might have been something else. Now that I think about it, I had a 2016 system or two that kept bombing on that update. Maybe it will be corrected in 2022-05 :)

Is this still an issue with 2016? Last few months I have been updating my ISOs after the updates come out, and the CU is always not checked. I force it, and get an error when processing.

Thanks, trying it again with just the Standard edition.
Getting to the point where 2016 won't be in use, just updating out of habit!

Are you getting the right download?

2023-09 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 1607 (KB5029924)Windows 10, Windows 10 LTSB32.3 MB
2023-09 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64 (KB5029924)Windows 10, Windows 10 LTSB54.7 MB
2023-09 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 4.8 for Windows Server 2016 for x64 (KB5029924)Windows Server 201654.7 MB

Try integrating KB5022838 first (it's on the update list), then after install run the latest update.
Let me know if that works, to label the latest updates not supporting integration (not much we can do, unless someone knows a dependency).
