Preset problem

Whenever I use the following preset on a 25H2 base image, it will get stuck on the "Please wait" screen after installation (if booted from image) or display the infamous "There was a problem. Rollijng back your system." in the case of an upgrade. In both cases it just crashes on those screen and will not advance. In the former case if I reboot the VM it will get stuck on "Installing" at 97 percent. What component(s) do I need to keep?

You have removed way too much! It's tempting to remove 'all', lol, but unfortunately Windows just breaks if you do.

There is no need to remove 'drivers' and such, as it makes no difference to the OS if your not using them, and it won't save you space image wise.

I run LTSC 24, and consider myself 'brutal', as in removing as much as I can, without it breaking anything. There are lot's I'd still love to remove, but unfortunately, most things are 'tied' into other things that cant.

I've had the above many times, and it's only with fucking around with many images, that you get to know what to remove, and what to keep

I include my 'pre-set' for 24H2 LTSC, which, comparing, is much the same 'component' wise, so I'd recommend loading and comparing against yours in your favourite .xml compare program lol I use WinMergeU, as it spots differences in seconds, which is handy for a Proxmox user like me lol

I can see, glancing over your .xml though, that there are big things you must not remove, period.

I tested it on Amd64, preset is fine, but the problem is his host is Arm64 and my VM is currently not booting it.
Thinking of getting the hardware for it, was planning on waiting the new Nvidia laptop in a few months.

Well, well, well, lol. It booted with this pre-set.

It takes a while does 25H2 to install compared to LTSC, Jesus! Now, not tested anything, but I'll play about with it over the days, and torture myself lol.

Latest UUP Dump image, Windows 11 Pro 25H2 - UK language.

Only 3 things I done.

1. No secure boot update, aka reverted to 2011.
2. Integrated the updates shown.
3. Install failed first time due to 'TPM' nonsense (not set in NTLite), so virtual 'TPM' set in VM second boot.

920 Components removed, well done! lol

Thank God I ain't running this lol, but it works
