Hello everyone,

I want to share with you my problems using Windows gaming preset.

Well, first thing that I do have a problem is using FiveM client. It doesn't open + I do have problems with SSL certificates that aren't updated so I must force it by myself to update them.

I've been asking chatGPT what app or services does block FiveM client while launching...and no results.

From time to time I do have shutters in games...even with a 7800X3D and a 6950 XT with 32 GB ram, windows feels slow.

Does someone have a better present for this ?

The different Gaming presets or templates will remove components considered not critical for running local apps.

A project like FiveM may require a Windows feature or library which was removed. Unfortunately unless you know the source code for FiveM and what's it is expecting, it's trial and error until you figure out what it requires.

You should ask the FiveM devs or their forum what libraries the client needs in order to run.

Disabling Windows Update will also stop the auto-updating of SSL certificates as that's one of its side tasks.

Could be a single component or .dll - share your preset as this can help NTL to make a better Game Template.
