Good evening community,

I'm trying to figure out how to remove the preinstalled applications from the Windows 10 Pro 1803 ISO.

Currently I have found for me two possible solutions:

Way 1:
Remove "Microsoft Content Delivery Manager"
But, I don't know can I remove the service without risk.
Can somebody tell something about the removability?

Way 2:
Set under Settings "Privacy --> Pre-installed apps --> Disabled".
Can someone tell me please, what happens in the background?

Sorry for my bad english, i'm from Germany.

I hope you understand my problem.

Hello,

I'm trying something similar as well.
I would like to disable end remove the applications that Windows 10 downloads and installs post-setup.
Mostly metro tiles for games and apps.

However I do not want to break something for future apps.

Which setting can be toggle for this?
Is this "windows content delivery manager" that I should uncheck?

I managed to figure out how to disable Windows 10 downloading and installing unwanted metro apps automatically after a fresh install without breaking the store.
These options can be found under the setting for the loaded image and by looking to settings related to the metro apps.
Everything can be done through NTlite for what I needed with the settings so no extra registry editing or scripting had to be done.

Interesting. I'll have a look.
