Removing keyboard layouts

I see that most of the shared NTLite component removal presets include removing additional keyboard layouts. Does this really give any performance boost to Windows?

No. Keyboard layouts and language files (not Language Packs) are just resources. They take up disk space, but honestly not that much. Windows will only load into memory what resources it really needs to run.

Free edition users love removing them, because it's an available option to them unlike the rest of the licensed removals.
