Just passing this along to see if anyone else is having this issue.

If I remove "Volume Mixer (Legacy)" in Windows 11 (24H2/25H2), the volume buttons on my keyboard no longer works to control volume. The volume flyout menu still appears if I click the volume buttons, but it will not change the volume. I tested this with 2 different Razer keyboards and had the same results. When I added "Volume Mixer (Legacy)" back to the OS, the volume buttons worked as normal. Removing the 32-bit only portion did not cause any issues.

I'm curious if the issue only occurs on Razer keyboards, or it's happening to all keyboards with volume functions. If anyone else is having the same issue, please post it here.

Thanks.

Oh, that explains it. I did not have time to figure it out yet, but experienced this exact problem with a Logitech keyboard. Weirdly enough, the volume keys did work in Windows sandbox running on the system where the volume keys did not work.
