Do you have a preset to attach (after removing any user passwords or license keys)? Is there a specific reason for using a loopback address?

its an example, i dont use loopback address, every shortcut with network address has this problem (win10 and win11 both)
thanks

Do all shortcuts fail, or only apps which require UAC support (ie. regedit)? You changed the UAC setting.
Otherwise I don't see any obvious problems in the preset.

all apps fail with UAC or not, this problem never existed, happened recently ( maybe ntlite updated caused it )

after too many ties and no luck i change to win10 22H2.19045.5965 and everything is working perfectly.
so there should be new update in windows that cause the icons not appear when we create a shortcut for app on network.

Even though this is not related to NTLite, as I replicated it on a non-edited Windows, it is important enough to review.

As far as I see, only thing influencing this is the Control Panel - Internet Options - Security - Local Intranet - Sites - Advanced
Add
file://127.0.0.1

Then reset icon cache or remake the shortcut to confirm.
You can repeat the same workaround for your network shares.

Seems like latest Windows 10 non-ESU version has a bug in auto-detection of Local intranet sites, it treats them as Internet.
If anyone knows how to generically fix this, please let us know to add that tweak.
