Hey all,
i hope this is no double post since i`m not sure how to translate the given error message correctly to do a search in english about it.

When i do ISO`s with one of the NTLite presets (Gamer in this case) i can`t install them on only of of my machines:
Ryzen 5900x, MSI MEG Unify, SATA + NVME SSDs, UEFI boot

I can launch setup and just before it should start to copy the first files it says:

View attachment 9475

"The computer couldn`t be prepared for the start of the next installation phase. Please restart to try again"

Of course it does not help to do that. Interesting: On my two laptops the installation does work without
any problem. So it must be related to this machine.

What i tried yet:

- Prepared the stick with Rufus (GPT+UEFI only)
- Prepared the stick with Rufus (MBR + CSM)
- Switched off secure boot in BIOS, tried UEFI/CSM
- Tried different connected SSDs

I really don`t have any clue whats going wrong here and any little help is appreciated!
TIA!

preset without login details and key would be a good way to start, and please list any tweaks and/or reg entries you have added

Or i forgot to tell this: I just used the plain "Gamer" preset and i did not do any changes to it. When trying to install i clicked "I don t have a key". No user details provided to the preset before. Oh and it doesn`t matter if Win 10 or 11 - same behaviour. I even loaded BIOS defaults to make sure nothing is wrong there - no change.

which 'gamer' preset as there are quite a few around .........

Usually this is MBR vs. GPT problem, or your image is missing a required USB or SATA driver.

To troubleshoot:
1. Boot from legacy USB (not USB3) port.
2. Make an image with no disk layout, Setup will try to use the existing boot mode.
3. Boot the unmodded Windows ISO, if it fails then it's probably missing a driver.
