Space of install.wim keeps increasing after months of updating

I use NTLite to install updates on the Windows 11 copy for some time, and, just now, install.wim has reached 18GB.

It was steadily increasing, but I've ignored it since writing to the image wasn't a threat to my USB stick as it has ample space.

Now I am starting to worry. I have even used ResetBase and install.wim continues to rise.

What can I do to prevent this?
 
How do I clean out superseded updates in NTLite?

Is there a single feature to do it? I don't want to add updates, i just want to clean out superseded updates such that the folder is smaller.
