I have created an image that works fine from an ISO but the wim file is larger than 4gb (too large for fat32). When I try to create the same image using the SWM (split wim file option) on the "apply" page the image will not work. During the install I get the error "... setup cannot locate files ..." about 80% into the installation. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I'm using NTlite 1.6.0.6164 and creating a win 10 home 1709 x64 image

Have you splitted the image in a bigger size for the firs half of the file?

Splitting images is not supported by Ms after Win 7.

Thanks, Yes I did split the wim file because it was over 4 gb. What's the best way to install this image with the large wim file from a USB? I've seen bootable USB programs such as Rufus do they work to create a bootable NTFS USB?

For USB
WinSetupFromUSB

Check the post #17, a short and quick guide to use it.

For DVD:
The recommended splitting size if you have a 5 GB wim file:
file01.swm 3 GB
file02.swm 2 GB

Have you tried that way?

It works great from a DVD with the large wim file so I did not try to split that ISO. I was just reading about WinSetupFromUSB I will read that post and give it a try. Thanks for your help!

@JDS, Microsoft states that Splitting is not supported on Win10, so your mileage may vary.
I recommend to try the ESD compression on the Apply page - Image format.
Also you can remove components in the Components page, under the "ISO image" branch, without any risk.
