I got/created Win 7 ult DVD with last updates by NTLite.
But use it for e.g. inplace upgrade is refused by the system because it is newer than the system on DVD,
what is obviously wrong.

Does anybody know a solution for that, the reason or has/ had the same problem ??

I had a similar problem when I tried an in-place upgrade. But I didn't get a warning that my iso was newer than my existing system - which it was. Rather, the system wouldn't let me do the upgrade at all. (I forget what the error message was.)

In my case, it was because I didn't include "Flag 9" stuff in my build. You need to keep the PE wim (in addition to the boot.wim) when you're on the last page of NTLite. (Where you trim the iso.)

Thanks ! The problem is solved yesterday: I downloaded days ago an iso, which was one of Win 7 SP1 but was not but Win 7 without SP1 /6.1.7601 versus 6.1.7600 !
There exist legions of wrong isos in net obviously.
You can see that by setup.exe /properties/details.
