Hi there,

I'm fairly new to using NTLite but have been able to create an ISO with updates, post install commands, etc. I'm having an issue now where I cannot seem to integrate the latest Windows 11 Cumulative Update (KB5055523) into my image.

Upon applying the changes in NTLite, I'm greeted with this:

If anyone is able to give me a nudge in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hi,

if components were removed from the image in prior sessions, restart from a full ISO when integrating updates.
Keep all changes in one preset, that way you can make an image from official image + latest updates + preset.

If it is an intact image, that's another story, should not happen.

Hey! Thanks so much for your speedy reply!

Okay, in that case, would you mind explaining (or linking me to docs) how to make a preset?

I did wonder... I'm currently re-doing everything manually each time I need to start fresh, so what you suggested sounds very helpful!

Sure. When you use the tool it saves the last session on the Presets list, it's on the right-side of the Image page.
At any time before processing/applying go to the Image page toolbar - Presets - Save As and save current page changes to a preset named as you like.
Also tool copies that 'auto saved xml' on the ISO by default, you can Presets - Import that one to the list.
To load a preset double-click or right-click Load, after first loading the target image of course.
Load - Append means add the changes to current ones, Load - Overwrite means replace all current choices as that preset was.

More info in the documentation.

That's amazing, thank you so much. Great support!
