After removing some features compressed file .wim to .esd via Ntlite. Now, whenever I boot from installation media it always errors out saying "Unable to find .WIM file for installation". I thought Ntlite will automatically set path to .esd but its not. Can I get some guidance on how to set path to this .esd file. Only thing change in this whole scenario is .wim to .esd to compress and save some space.

Hi,

it should be automatic, do you have a .\sources\install.esd file on that ISO/USB?
Install.wim in the same folder should be gone.

If ESD is there, and not corrupted but actually ~2/3 size of the WIM, how did you convert it so that I can try?

And which Windows version.
Is it at least Win8.1? Win7 does not support ESD.

Thanks.

nuhi Its windows 10. Corruption can be the possibility but its all done in Ntlite. I do have install.esd in sources folder. I compressed it by selecting .esd option when in apply menu. I will try again to compile image and will let you know.

ESD is a quite intensive process, machine must be stable and have enough of free RAM.
It is adapting to the available resources, but it's not perfect.
Also let me know if it's a dual architecture ISO.
